Go with the Flow.

There have been various names given to this Flow throughout history: God; Tao; Buddha-nature; Krishna; The Universe; The Reticular Activating System; Self-Confidence even. All of these words allude to the same concept.

There is an astonishing and immaculate design to life. If you can't see it from your current perspective, keep searching. Flow will lead you to all the correct literature, art, science and spirituality that will eventually show you the bigger picture.

The World is perfect exactly as it is. Anything that you view as 'wrong' or 'problematic' or 'evil' merely exists as part of someone else's life path and is not for you to understand. Just be Okay with it. And if you can't be Okay with it, you're welcome to find a way to change it.

First Blog

I am a recently awakened human being. On the 10th of December 2014, in my 40th year, I experienced what I have since researched to be a Satori moment: a massive and almost overwhelming shift in consciousness. In a split second my mind opened up to the infinite possibilities of existence. Until that moment I had dismissed accounts of people hearing voices as delusional fantasies. I had always struggled with this concept mainly because it suggests that this is something that you experience with your physical senses, specifically your sense of hearing. What people having these experiences fail to explain is that it simply feels as real as if someone were talking, or in my case shouting, in your ear. On December 10th 2014 I had the experience of a voice, my own to be precise, shouting in my ear: “Wake up!”

This is not a metaphor. I am relating this as it happened to me.

Anyone reading this who has not had a similar experience will most likely also label me as delusional, simply because it is not possible to truly conceive of other possible realities from the perspective of the one you are in.

This is how I lived my life for 40 years, thinking that reality is exactly that: Reality. Meaning that things are the way they are and anything that I had not experienced with my five physical senses could not form part of that reality. Anyone claiming to have had experiences outside of these physical dimensions, anything from paranormal activity to spirituality, were in my estimation, slightly nuts and generally to be avoided.

I had always considered myself an atheist, the existence of God in this randomly chaotic world about as convincing as the existence of the Easter Bunny. In that one moment, all of that changed and I instantly understood religion, its function and why people think they need it. At the same time I understood that religion is simply one possible connection to an unlimited power that has been given various labels over countless centuries. And I instantly realized how every piece of our infinite universe is connected to this source and to every other piece.

This is my first attempt at a blog and I would like to make it clear from the outset that I have no intention of attempting to sell anything to any readers who may come across these words. I certainly have no interest in selling anyone on a new way of looking at the world if they aren’t searching for one, as I have experienced how frustrating that can be from the other side of the equation.

My only intention is to share these words online for the benefit of anyone who does happen to be searching for answers and may find some value here. I am hoping to make this a daily blog presenting complex concepts that have been discussed for centuries, while attempting to simplify them in a way that I might have understood on the 9th of December 2014.

I hope you will join me.
